Our homework for life drawing was to use the Superman model sheet (below) to help us to be able to recreate the same character over and over again!

This week Michael asked us to use the flat side of a piece of Conté chalk to capture the movement of the man.
At first I found this quite difficult, Michael said I was focusing too much on the outline. But after he showed me how to do it I understood better!

In the sketch below I tried to see how the body connects together from the head, through the spine and down into the legs. I am still finding proportions difficult but these classes are defiantly helping me!
